Meet the team
Mark Williamson is currently a Ph.D. student in Biology at the University of North Dakota. In addition to biology, he has a great interest in physics, space, and paleontology. He enjoys sharing scientific knowledge through teaching and writing.
Mary Hospedales graduated from Loyola University, New Orleans with a Bachelor’s in English Writing. Her not so minors are in Biology (which she enjoys being a huge nerd about) and in French (she admits to being a Francophile). Here interests include reading, dancing and fueling her writing with a copious amount of tea and hot chocolate. She currently lives in Trinidad and Tobago and can be sprawled on the beach, book in hand.
Justine Jackson-Ricketts is a freelance science writer and photographer based in Florida, USA. She has Ph.D. in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology and specializes in the life sciences, but is fascinated by all things science and loves to write. She is passionate about education, conservation, and making science accessible to all.
Sezgin studied chemistry in Germany at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology. He has a PhD in biochemistry. The focus of his works are protein structure analysis and protein-lipid membrane interactions. Sezgin is a passionate writer in life sciences as well as other topics which include astronomy, history, and religion.
